Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 (AMD) in India, designed specifically to handle advanced AI tasks. This new laptop, introduced during TechDay 2024 in Bengaluru, stands out as the first laptop to feature 50 TOPS (Tera Operations per Second) of AI processing power on the x86 architecture, making it ideal for AI-driven applications.
Available at a price of Rs. 1,38,000, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 is now offered on company's website and through various retailers across India.
Targeting businesses and IT professionals, the laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 processor, known for its powerful performance and efficiency with AI workloads. It comes equipped with a 14-inch WUXGA screen, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, a 256GB SSD, and Wi-Fi 7 support. The Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 processor provides up to 50 TOPS of AI processing power, making the device perfect for data analysis, machine learning, and other resource-intensive tasks.
The laptop also features AMD’s advanced 4nm architecture for increased efficiency and comes with an AMD Radeon 880M GPU, making it suitable for graphics-heavy applications. Lenovo promises a long-lasting battery life of over 17 hours, ensuring extended use without the need for frequent recharging.
