Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip to Enhance Privacy in Calls Samsung is exploring a new method to improve the privacy of phone calls on its upcoming Galaxy Z Flip models. Currently, users have to use the external speaker to answer calls while the device is closed, limiting privacy. Reports suggest that Samsung is collaborating with LG to develop advanced display technology that could replace the traditional ear speaker. This innovation aims to enable users to answer calls without having to open the device, particularly benefiting foldable phone designs.

Google Maps Introduces Fake Review Alerts Google Maps has introduced a feature designed to help users identify businesses that may have a high number of fraudulent reviews. This new alert system, which is now available in the U.S. after its initial rollout in the UK, will display warnings on business profiles that show signs of fake reviews. If Google removes any fake reviews, users will be notified, making it easier to assess the authenticity of a business’s ratings. While specific criteria for flagging unusual ratings have not been disclosed, businesses flagged by this system may face temporary restrictions on collecting new reviews.

iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air to Feature 120Hz Display Following the recent launch of the iPhone 16 series, which received mixed reviews due to its 60Hz refresh rate, the upcoming iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air are expected to finally include a 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display with ProMotion technology. This would mark a significant upgrade for standard iPhone models, which have historically lacked this feature. Additionally, Apple is rumored to be replacing the Plus variant with the new Slim or Air version.

Teaser for Nothing Phone 3 Emerges A teaser for the Nothing Phone 3 appeared during the launch of the Nothing Ear Open headphones, hinting at the device’s name and features. Viewers spotted the phrase "Finish setting up Phone (3)" in a settings menu during a video presentation. This suggests a centered hole-punch cutout for the front camera and slim bezels, indicating a sleek design.

Vivo Launches V40e with Impressive Display The newly launched Vivo V40e features a 6.77-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ compatibility. One unique feature is its Wet Touch capability, which allows the screen to remain responsive even when wet. The V40e is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of storage. It runs on Vivo’s FuntouchOS 14, based on Android 14, with a starting price of Rs. 28,999.

X Introduces New Features for Blocked Accounts The social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, will now allow users to see posts from accounts they have blocked, although they won’t be able to interact with them. Previously, blocked users received a simple "you're blocked" message and could not see any details about the blocked account. Elon Musk commented on this change, emphasizing that the block feature will prevent engagement but not visibility.
