Georgia: In a disturbing case that has shocked many, two men from Georgia have been sentenced to 100 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing their adopted sons and recording the acts. The case has drawn attention due to its harrowing details and the severe nature of the crimes.
The Investigation
The investigation began in July 2022 when the Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) received a crucial tip from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s (GBI) Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit. The tip, originating from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, alerted authorities to suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) that was uploaded to a Google account linked to an IP address in Walton County.
Upon receiving this information, authorities issued a search warrant for the home of William Dale Zulock and Zachary Jacoby Zulock. The search uncovered shocking evidence, including surveillance footage that captured multiple instances of the abuse. Investigators also found over seven terabytes of digital data, along with phone records containing graphic images and videos.
A House of Horrors
In their ruling, the court emphasized the vital role of adoptive parents, who are entrusted with the responsibility of providing children with a safe and loving home. The court stressed that anyone who chooses to adopt and then abuses or exploits the children in their care must face severe consequences. In the case of the Zulocks, the court described their home as a "house of horrors," where their twisted desires took precedence over the well-being of the children.
The duo, William Dale Zulock & Zachary Jacoby Zulock, pleaded guilty to the charges. The court added that neither of the men would be eligible for parole during their 100-year sentences, ensuring they would spend the rest of their lives in prison.
