Vivo's sub-brand, iQOO, has officially launched its latest flagship smartphone, the iQOO 13, in India today. With its powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the iQOO 13 is designed to compete with high-end devices such as the Realme GT 7 Pro and OnePlus 13. This phone is loaded with features aimed at gamers and tech enthusiasts alike.
The iQOO 13 features a stunning 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology, which allows the refresh rate to adjust dynamically based on content. Gamers will enjoy advanced capabilities like 2K Game Super Resolution, 144 fps frame interpolation, and a Supercomputing Chip Q2, ensuring a smooth and immersive gaming experience. A vapour chamber cooling system keeps the phone cool, even during extended gaming sessions or intensive tasks.
In terms of photography, the iQOO 13 is equipped with a powerful 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, offering versatile shooting options. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front camera to capture high-quality photos.
The Indian version of the iQOO 13 comes with a 6,000mAh battery, supporting 120W wired fast charging. This is slightly smaller than the 6,150mAh battery found in the Chinese variant. Additionally, the phone features a unique "Monster Halo" light effect around the camera module, which serves as a notification indicator for calls, messages, and charging.
When it comes to design, the iQOO 13 will be available in two striking colours:
Nardo Grey – Inspired by Italian racetracks
Legend Edition – Featuring BMW Motorsport’s signature tri-colour stripe
The device is built to withstand the elements, with an IP69 rating offering excellent resistance to dust and water.
Running on Android 15 with FunTouchOS 15, the iQOO 13 promises 4 years of Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates, ensuring the phone stays up-to-date.
The iQOO 13 is priced at Rs. 54,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant, and Rs. 59,999 for the 16GB/512GB variant. Users with HDFC or ICICI Bank credit cards can enjoy an additional Rs. 3,000 discount. The phone will be available for pre-booking from December 10, with general availability starting on December 11.
